1967 Ingersoll Milling Machine Co of USA acquire 49 percent of Alfred Herbert; formed Herbert-Ingersoll as a separate company[1]

1968 Factory starts production of 125 new machine tools. This is a joint venture between Alfred Herbert and Ingersoll of the USA.[2]
