Born the son of John Robinson, a Farmer (and Quaker).

Trained under James Constable at Horley Mill

Founded a large milling establishment at Deptford Bridge.

1871 Residing at Cayuga House, Lewisham: Henry Robinson (age 48 born Charlwood, Surrey), Miller, Master employing 24 men. With his wife Jane L. Robinson (age 41 born Lewisham), one daughter and three sons. Also a nephew.[1]

1898 Death of his wife Jane Love Robinson age 69.[2]

1900 February 25th. Died. 'The death of Mr. Henry Robinson, of the firm of J. and H. Robinson. of the Flour Mills, Deptford Bridge and Lewisham, took place on February 25th. after a long illness, at his residence, Cayuga House. Eliot Park, Blackheath. The deceased gentleman, who was 79 years of age, and a widower, leaves a family. The funeral took place on Thursday in the Quaker Cemetery at Reigate....Mr. J. Robinson, the elder brother, and the members of the deceased gentleman's family wore the chief mourners. A large number of the employees of both the Deptford and Lewisham Mills were also present at the funeral.'[3]
