1911 Living at Lion House, Alphington Road, Exeter: Henry Peter Channing (age 50 born Clyst St. Mary), Private Hotel Proprietor. With his wife Jessie. One lodger and five boarders.[2]

1936 August 10th. Died. Of Brooklands, Alphington.
