1871 Living at The Brewery, Oldbury Road, Smethwick: Henry Mitchell (age 33 born Worcester), brewer and Licenced Victualler and Maltster employing 12 men and 1 Boy. With his wife and four children. Two servants.[1]
1877 Commences building the Cape Hill Brewery and completes two years later
