Henry John Cubitt Keymer (1849-1924) of the Fisheries Iron Works, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth.

1849 December 9th. Born in Drayton, Norfolk, the son of Phillip Keymer, Millwright, and his wife Frances Cubitt

With his wife Frances Keymer (age 38 born Salthouse, Norfolk) and their six children; Maryann Keymer (age 15 born Salthouse, Norfolk); Phillip Keymer (age 13 born Salthouse, Norfolk); Charlotte Keymer (age 11 born Salthouse, Norfolk); William Keymer (age 8 born Salthouse, Norfolk); Elizabeth Keymer (age 5 born Salthouse, Norfolk); and Henry Keymer (age 1 born Drayton, Norfolk).

1894 News item. 'Mr. H. J. C. Keymer, member of the Yarmouth Town Council, is now prospecting in South Africa, and hopes treating the crushed quarts from the mines in Oates to obtain there from £1,000 per cent profit in gold. Mr. Keymer was for many years the proprietor of the Fishery Iron Works, Gorleston, and was appointed manager when the works ware taken over some little time ego by Messes. Davis and Co., of London. He severed his connection with the Company about twelve months ago. Mr. KJeymer was also the proprietor of several of the passenger steam boats which ply up end down the Norfolk and Suffolk waterways during the summer.'

1924 June 3rd. Died.
