1808 Born in Blackwall, son of George Green and his second wife Elizabeth (nee Unwin).

With his brothers Frederick and Richard, continued the shipbuilding business of Green, Wigram and Green.

1832 Money Wigram built the first ship for his own account for trade to Australia. The Green family followed suit and began to establish a larger fleet of ships.

1834 Married Elizabeth Dowson in Limehouse[1]

1849 The business became Richard and Henry Green, later R. and H. Green and Co

1851 Ship builder living in West Ham, with Elizabeth Green 35, Sarah Green 14, Lucy Green 11, Emma Green 10, George Fk Green 8, Walter S Green 7, Charles E Green 4, Hellen M Green 2 months[2]

1861 Ship builder and ship broker living in Walthamstow with Elizabeth Green 45, Sarah Green 20, Emma Green 20, Ellen Mary Green 10[3]

1871 Ship owner, living in Brighton, with Henry Green 32, ship builder, Richard Green 5, John Green 4, Sarah Green 24, Emma Green 30[4]

1876 Died in Reigate, executors George Frederick Green of Farringdon, Berks, and Charles Ernest Green of Blackheath[5]
