Henry Gardner, Chairman of Henry Gardner and Co., Ltd., died in May this year.
Gardner had been actively engaged in the metal trade for over 60 years, and besides being chairman of this Company was deputy chairman of Amalgamated Metal Corporation, Ltd., since its formation.
He was for forty-three years a member of the London Metal Exchange, and a member of the Board and Chairman of the Committee for sixteen years.
Gardner was an original member of the Institute of Metals.
