'...The Partnership lately subsisting between Henry Ellis and Henry Samuel Ellis, of No. 200, in the High-street, in the city of Exeter, under the style or firm of Henry Ellis and Son, in the business of Gold and Silversmiths, Watchmakers and Jewellers, was dissolved by mutual consent, on the 25th day of June, 1854, and the same business will henceforth be carried on by the said Henry Samuel Ellis and William Horton Ellis, under the style or firm of Ellis (Brothers)...'[1]
