1903 Obituary [1]

HENRY CHARLTON died on February 2, 1903. For many years he was manager of the well-known firm of Hawks, Crawshay & Company, Gateshead-on-Tyne.

On leaving the service of this firm, he entered business on his own account, and started the Gateshead Ironworks at South Shore, Gateshead.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1884.
