1908 Description and photo of special boring, drilling and milling machine for the Campbell Gas Engine Co of Halifax. The machine was designed to carry out all the machining operations on the bodies of gas engines.[1]. See illustration.

1922 Directors: A. Broadbent, A. Whitfield, Jno. Mallinson. Products: High-speed lathes, cone, all gear and motor-driven.

By 1956 was part of Kerry's (Great Britain) Ltd

1962 merged with Oldfield and Schofield as Broadbent-Schofield[2][3]

1972 Broadbent-Schofield received support for a project for an auto-lathe from government programme for the machine tool industry [4]
