1854 Henry Bracknell established his business[2]

1859 Patent to Henry Brecknell, of the city of Bristol, Brassfounder, and John Dyer, of the same place, Gentlemanm for Improvements in cocks and valves[3]

c.1860 presumably founded the business that became H. Brecknell and Son

1880 Buried in Holy Trinity, St Philip, Bristol[4]

  • NB this person seems to have much the same attributes as Job Brecknell, who does appear in the 1861 and 1871 censuses.
