1965 Public company - greatly oversubscribed offer for sale of shares. Sales of gas boilers had expanded in past 5 years so much that they accounted for 70 percent of turnover[2]

1969 Merged with the much larger Stelrad to form Hattersley Stelrad, which was 41 percent owned by Hattersley[3] [4]. Hattersley Stelrad was (re)floated on the Stock Exchange[5]

1970 Introduced Verona back boiler[6]

1971 Name changed to Stelrad Group[7]
