HARRY FREESTONE BULL, born on the 9th August, 1862, died at Chester in January, 1914.

In 1880 he was articled to Mr. Wm. Clarke, M.Inst.C.E., and subsequently he acted as Resident Engineer on the Ross and Ledbury and Newent Railways.

In 1887 he became assistant to Mr. Stanhope Bull, Bridgemaster for the County of Chester, and in 1896 he was appointed County Surveyor, an office which he held until his death.

Mr. Bull was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 15th May, 1888.
