1837 Sale notice: 'EXTENSIVE SALE OF TOOLS. PRESSES. LATHES, ANVILS, DRILLING MACHINE. &c.
TO be SOLD by AUCTION, by J. FALLOWS, on MONDAY NEXT, September 11, at ten o'clock in the morning, on the premises lately in the occupation of Messrs. Harrison and Swann, in Bradford-street, corner of Birchall-street;— the whole of the Anvils. Bellows, Vices, Tools, Presses, Lathes, a very excellent Drilling Machine, and large and powerful Press, Counters, Partitions, Office and Warehouse Fixtures, together with a quantity of other articles required in the trade; particulars which will appear in catalogues, (to be had at the Auctioneer's office,) which will be ready on and after Monday next. The above articles will he found in excellent condition, and will be sold without reserve; the goodwill of the trade (of Fire Iron and Fender Manufacturer) having been disposed of to Mr. Thomas Kenning, Upper Trinity-street, Birmingham.'
