The firm moved to 45, Pall Mall from 59, Pall Mall, which was originally a coffee house of great repute, known as The Smyrna, and the resort of noted wits and men of fashion, including Dean Swift.

The business is the retail branch of the Government printing firm, Harrison and Sons, of St. Martin's Lane.

1914 Specialities: Bookselling, and the Publishing of Sporting and Military Books. The firm are also the Publishers of "Burke's Peerage," "Burke's Landed Gentry," "The Titled Nobility of Europe," the Foreign Office List, India Office List, &c. Royal Warrant Holders to H.M. the King and to H.M. Queen Alexandra.
