1911 Residing at Field Mill House, Mansfield: Harold Royce (age 32 born Mansfield), manager Shoe manufactory. With his brother Bernard Royce (age 29 born Leicester), Assistant Manager Shoe manufactory and Civil Engineer. Also his sister Hilda Royce.[1]

1950 Died. 'Harold Royce, of 49, Chancellor House, Tunbridge Wells, formerly of Oak Bank, Mansfield, for some years managing director and chairman of the Mansfield Shoe Co, a director of the Norvic Shoe Co, and the Mansfield Laundry Co...'[2]
