1959 Joint Managing Director, Concentric Manufacturing Co.. Ltd. Served apprenticeship with Vickers, Ltd., 1916-21; gained shop experience from 1921 to 1929 with T. H. Savery, Ltd., Steam Engineers; in 1929 became Production Manager, Premier Electric Heaters, Ltd., and from 1937 to 1945 was General Works Manager, Bendix, Ltd., Auto and Aero Brakes; in 1945 appointed Deputy Managing Director, A.I.D., Ltd., and then in 1947, Joint Managing Director to above firm engaged in the manufacture of Water Pumps, Oil Pumps, Steering Idlers and Mechanisms, Gear-change Units, etc.; is also a Director of Metaducts, Ltd., Brentford; of Rowmill Metal, Ltd.; and T. Miller, Ltd., Birmingham; Alexander Controls, Ltd., Sutton Coldfield; and Chairman of Fletcher Bros. (Pressings), Ltd., Birmingham.
1968 Deputy Chairman and Group Managing Director, Concentric. From 1937 to 1945 was General Works Manager, Bendix, Auto and Aero Brakes; in 1945 appointed Deputy Managing Director, A. I. D., and then in 1947, Joint Managing Director, Concentric Pumps, of which company he is now Chairman and is engaged in the manufacture of Water Pumps and Oil Pumps; is also Chairman Concentric Fabrications; Rowmill Metal; Levity Plastics; Moulded Plastics (Birmingham) and T. Miller, Birmingham; Alexander Controls; Cutler Borland and Co; Concentric Controls; Concentric Production Research, and Concentric (Pressed Products)
