Career: Entered Marconi Co. as Engr. in 1905; served in Russia, Canada, Spain and Egypt; erected Carnarvon Transatlantic Wireless Station, 1913-14; received Commission in R.F.C., August, 1915; Capt., June, 1916; Major, August, 1917; Lt.-Col., December, 1917; commanded Wireless Experimental Establishment R.A.F., August, 1917 to April, 1918; in charge all Wireless in France R.A.F., April, 1918, to April, 1919; twice mentioned in Dispatches; 1914-15 Star, General Service and Victory Medals.
