1940 Private company incorporated by A. C. Wickman[1]; the acquired tungsten carbide tool business of Tool Metal Manufacturing Co was incorporated into the company.

Sintered the powders from Powderloys to make Wimet tungsten carbide tools. The company was majority owned by Wickman[2]

1963 The 3 companies involved in making and selling Wimet tools were brought together in Wickman Wimet, three-quarter owned by Wickman.

1964 Hard Metal Tools Ltd. and Wickman Wimet Ltd. formed into a single business from 1st April 1964 operating under the name of Wickman Wimet Ltd.[3]
