Hobbies: Motoring, yachting; at one time owned racing yachts Tartar and Giroutette, both of which some years ago carried winning flags at regattas at Kingstown, Howth, Dalkev, etc.; has replaced the above boats with the steam launches Olivana (17 tons) and Wildfire (45 tons).
