1910 Locomotive, Wagon and Carriage Engineer of the Ceylon Government Railways

1917 ' Mr. T. A. Whittaker, district locomotive superintendent, Government Railway, Ceylon, has just been appointed assistant locomotive, carriage and wagon superintendent. The appointment is a result of the retirement of Mr. H. G. Unsworth (formerly of Derby), locomotive, carriage and wagon superintendent, and the promotion to that position of Mr. E. W. Head. Up to about six years ago Mr. Whittaker was district locomotive superintendent, Midland Railway, Toton. He is a son of the late Mr. W. Whittaker, who was assistant goods manager.'[1]
