1891 Directory (Bolton): Listed as Cotton spinners and manufacturers. More details

1896 The company was registered on 30 December, to acquire the business of cotton spinners and doublers of a company of the same name. [1]

1947 Merged with J. and J. Hayes to form Hayeshaw.[2]

1961 Spinners and doublers of Halliwell Mills, Bolton, Lancs.

1964 Hayeshaw sold its spinning interests to Courtaulds.[3]
