1911 July. 'THE new waterworks for the burgh of Grangemouth, on tho Bannockburn, wore opened at the beginning of this month. The first sod of the work was cut six years ago, and tho total cost is estimated at £140,000. The supply is for the burgh of Grangemouth, and also for tho central district of Stirlingshire.'[1]
