By 1912, the Emlyn Engineering Works and Foundry had been concentrated at Newport.

1922 Alfred Danks purchased the Emlyn Works at Gloucester.

1929 Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Co took over Danks

1930 Gloucester Foundry Ltd. was set up to run the Emlyn Works; Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Co had a large interest in this firm.

1937 Ironfounders and pulley manufacturers.

1980s The Foundry closed.
