1883 The company was registered on 2 November. [1] The company prospectus sought to raise £100,000 to erect in Glasgow a fireproof spinning mill, equal in every respect to the most approved Lancashire mills, and for carrying on therein the business of cotton spinning.[2]

1928 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
