1861 Living at South Sea Cottage, Datchet, Bucks: George William Petter (age 37 born Barnstaple), Printer, Publisher and Manufacturer employing about 380 persons. With his wife Elizabeth Emma Petter (age 32 born Camden Town) and their children Clara Maud Petter (age 4 born St. Pancras); and Emma G. Petter (age 3 born St. Pancras). One visitor and one servant.[1]
