George Starr Bambrick (1897-1925)

George Starr Bambrick was born in 1897, and was educated at the Bablake School, Coventry, and the Coventry Technical Institute.

He received his automobile training with Daimler, and subsequently proceeded to the Federated Malay States to take charge of a rubber factory.

At the end of 1921 he returned to this country, and rejoined the Daimler Company as a draughtsman, and was elected a Graduate of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1922.

He died in Africa on 20th May, 1925, at the age of 27.
