1901 Iron founder, lived with his family in Denny[2]

1903 Managing director of Smith and Wellstood gained a patent with Thomas McGrouther, foreman pattern maker, on adjustable roof flanges or nozzles for the smoke pipes of stoves, etc

1921 of Queen's Club, London, gained a patent on a design of centrifugal pump.

1930 Died in Bonnybridge[3]
