1898 Era Mill, Rochdale: 'The mill is of fireproof construction, and it has been provided with a duplex fly-wheel pump, manufactured by Messrs. George Mills and Co., Radcliffe, and constructed to throw five jets of water on to the top of the building. This pump will deliver 30,000 gallons of water per hour.'[1]
