1911 Living at 49 Castle Street, Thetford, Norfolk: George Ewart Lambert (age 30 born Thetford), Cycle Maker Dealer. With his wife Florence Helena and their daughter.[1]

1934 Man. Dir. W. and G. Lambert, Ltd., Thetford. B. 1880 Thetford. Car.: formed the firm of W. & G. Lambert

1939 Living at, Motor Agent. With Florence Lambert and Bernice Lambert.[2]

1953 Chairman and Managing Director, W. &. G. Lambert Ltd., Castle Street, Thetford. Born Thetford, 8th February, 1880. Became apprenticed to his father's coachbuilding business in 1895, and during Boer War started to sell bicycles. Within two years was selling these at rate of over 500 a year. Later he was one of the first to deal in motor cycles and cars.
