1863 Joined Ashby and Jeffery

1865 Married Mary the daughter of Thomas W. Ashby

1881 Living at Ryhall, Rutland: George E. Jeffery (age 44 born Yalding), Agricultural Engineer (Rutland Iron Works). With his wife Mary Jeffery (age 42 born Stamford) and their three children; Edith S. Jeffery (age 15 born Stamford); Georgeanna M. Jeffery (age 12 born Stamford); and James J. Jeffery (age 8 born Stamford). Three servants.[1]
