GEORGE DIGBY WYBROW, born on the 16th July, 1844, at Newport, Mon., died at Chalford, Gloucestershire, on the 10th June, 1913.

He entered the Indian Public Works Department in 1867, and, after passing through the various grades, attained the rank of Executive Engineer of the first class in 1887.

Later, he was promoted to Superintending Engineer in Madras, and in 1894 he retired from the service. His principal work was done in connection with the irrigation of the valleys of the Godavery and Kistna rivers.

Mr. Wybrow was elected an Associate of The Institution on the 7th May, 1878, and was subsequently placed in the class of Associate Members.
