Born the son of Daniel Barrowclough Bentley

1871 Living at 84 Rochdale Road, Bury: Daniel Bentley (age 40 born Bury), Iron Founder employing 67 men and 19 boys. With his wife Clemence Bentley (age 45 born Bolton) and their two sons John Bentley (age 18 born Bury) and George Bentley (age 14 born Bury).[1]

1905 Married at Ormskirk to Eliza Mary Taylor

1911 Living at 23 Grosvenor Road, Southport: George Bentley (age 54 born Bury), Engineer- Employer. With his wife Eliza Mary and his MIL.[2]

1931 Died age 74
