Garstang and Knot End Railway

From Graces Guide

This 7 mile line ran from Garstang and Catterall on the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway to Pilling and opened in 1870. It was eventually bought by the Knott End Railway [1]

1864 The company was incorporated to build a line. Length 11.75 miles.

1878 A receiver was appointed.

1908 The line is 7 miles in length. [2]
