1962 As part of the reorganization of the company's activities concerning nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners etc., a new company was formed GKN Bolts and Nuts[1]

1966 GKN re-organised its businesses, with the UK business arranged into 7 sub-groups, one of which was GKN Bolts and Nuts[2]. In this group were the subsidiary companies:

1970 GKN Bolts and Nuts, Atlas Works, Darlaston.[3]

1972 GKN Bolts and Nuts Ltd. (Standard Bolt and Nut Division), Stobcross Street, Coatbridge[4]
