Frederick Charles Michell (1883-1955) M.I.H.V.E.

Born at Camberwell the son of Edward A. Michell, a dock labourer.

August 1899 He entered the employ of Edward Deane and Beal Ltd.

1911 Living at 17 Stratford Road, Thornton Heath: Frederick Charles Michell, Clerk (Engineer). With his wife Amy Maud, his daughter, his mother and his niece.[1]

1939 Living at 77 Downlands Road, Purley, Heating Engineer, Technical. With Amy M.[2]

1952 He was appointed to the chairmanship of Edward Deane and Beal Ltd.

"Apart from his business, Mr. Michell is very active in association affairs, being a member of the council, trustee and past-president of the Association of Heating, Ventilating and Domestic Engineering Employers; a member of the Institution of Heating and Ventilating Engineers, and chairman of the Benevolent Fund Committee."
