Son of Abraham Darby (1750-1789)

1796 After their father's death, the iron-making interests of his descendants were separated from those of the Reynolds family, the Darbys keeping control of the Coalbrookdale and Horsehay undertakings. Darby's sons Francis and Richard were both involved in managing the ironworks.
