Albert Fry and John Fowler, Junior

1850 John Fowler, Junior conducted experiments, with Albert Fry at Bristol, which resulted in a patented drainage plough which was exhibited at the Royal Agricultural Society's show at Exeter that year. This first plough was worked by horses but steam power was used later.

1856 Fowler and Fry was listed at 94 Temple Street, Bristol as 'Fowler and Fry, agricultural implement makers and engineers' [1]

1856 October. Partnership between John Fowler, Junior and Albert Fry was dissolved. [2]

1856 October. Announces that Albert Fry will carry on the business at the Temple-Gate Implement Factory after the withdrawal of John Fowler, Jun. [3]
