Possible early connection with Midland Machinery and Press Tool Co, Eagle Foundry, Broad Street.

1926 Mention of the New Eagle Foundry. (Part of the address of Finney in 1950). [1]

1945 Advertising vacancies. Finney Presses Ltd, Berkeley Street, Birmingham.[2]

1954/5 Acquired by Metal Industries; the company would complement the presses business of Fawcett, Preston and Co[3].

1957 New applications were developed for the Grier-Mercier hydro-pneumatic accumulators[4]

1958 Merged into Fawcett Preston; operations were concentrated at Bromborough and Birmingham was closed[5]
