FERGUS RICHARD FORBES, born on the 19th January, 1890, was killed in action in France on the 25th September, 1915.

Trained at Messrs. Siemens Brothers’ Dynamo Works, he served subsequently as an assistant, and in 1913 joined the staff of the Edmundson Electricity Corporation, being employed as a shift engineer at Hayle power-station until the outbreak of the war, when he obtained a commission in the Royal Engineers.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 13th April, 1915.
