1901 F. and G. Smith Limited, whose registered office is at Wells-next-the-Sea, in the county of Norfolk, Maltsters.[2]
1929 'Mr. Lucas Smith, a director of the Norfolk firm of maltsters, Messrs. F. and G. Smith, Limited, was found shot at his home at Wells yesterday. An automatic pistol was near the body...'[3]
