1908 Frank Parkinson went into business on his own account.

1913 Frank was joined by his brother, Albert, manufacturing alternating-current motors. This was a union of complementary skills: Frank had a brilliant commercial brain and dominant personality while Albert proved a master of precision production engineering.

1918 The firm was later known as F. and A. Parkinson.
