1922 A.M.I.Mech.E., Consulting Mechanical Transport Engineer, 7, Spenlow Street, London, E.14. T. N.: East 1788. b. 1871. Ed. Eccles Grammar School and Manchester Technical School. Engineering training received at Nasmyth, Wilson and Co., Ltd., Bridgewater Foundry, Patricroft, Manchester, and joined Herbert Morris, Ltd., Loughborough, in 1900, as Works Manager and Assistant Managing Director; joined R. Garrett and Sons, Ltd., Leiston, in 1909, as Works Manager; purchased the business of Parsons and Sons, Haulage Contractors, 733, Commercial Road, E., and 7, Spenlow Street, E.14, in 1920. Paper read before the 2' Nottingham Association of Engineers, for which awarded medal. War Services.—Organized the manufacture of shells, aeroplanes, and a training school for munition workers, 1914-8.
