Mr. Levetus was educated at Ouridle School and Trinity Hall Cambridge; he then entered engineering as an apprentice at the Alvis Car Company.

In 1934 he joined Mr. G. V. Keeling in a partnership which later became Keelavite Rotary Pumps and Motors, Ltd., of Coventry, of which he is now Technical Director.
