1852 Opened by the mine owner, Edward Wilson

1906 Traded until this date as the Exhall Colliery Co and then changed to Exhall Colliery and Brickworks

1915 Accident at the mines resulted in fourteen deaths

1938 Mine closed

1939 Brickworks closed

1939 A new company traded as Hawkesbury and Exhall Collieries Ltd. In 1940 it employed 60 men underground and 24 on the surface. By 1943, the company had grown to employ 98 underground and 39 on the surface.
