1930 J. B. Brooks and Co advertised Evertaut steel stools and chairs, "as used by the GPO"[1]

Pre-WWII Evertaut Ltd had been established, making steel furniture[2]

1956 New subsidiary established, Evertaut Seating at Darwen, to handle the seat manufacturing business; Evertaut Ltd continued in sheet metal[3]

1963 Became a subsidiary of Harris and Sheldon when that company took over the remaining parts of J B Brooks[4]

1988 Acquired by Wassall plc[5]
