1836 John Hall, Powell & Scott at 17 rue de Sotteville, Rouen, advertised that they were opening a factory for the manufacture of medium and high pressure steam engines, hydraulic machinery, paper-making machinery, oil and flour mills, rolling and slitting mills, etc.

1867 Died in Rouen

The only relatives of Evan Samuel Scott alive in 1867 were Margaret Brookbank and Emily Scott, spinster[1]

Presumably Thomas continued business in Rouen - see Thomas Scott (Rouen)
