'The death of Mr. E. A. Savage, joint managing director of Buck and Hickman, took place on Monday evening, the 7th inst. His many friends and business associates will miss his strong and cheery personality; although owing to ill-health he had lately become absent from the business with which he had been associated since he was quite a young man. Though in age only forty-eight, his high capabilities had given him a leading place in the world of commerce.'
