Tripos, Cambridge University; Scholarship at Pembroke Coll., Cambridge. Asst. Manager in Steel Works Dept., Sir W. G. Armstrong, Whitworth and Co. for thirteen years, in control of forges, drop stamping shops, etc.; 1914-20—Manager of Light Ordnance Department, Sir W. G.
