Eric Field (1914 - )

Born Marsden, loth December, 1914. Educated at Huddersfield Technical College, 1928-32 where he was awarded Higher National Diploma and took I.Mech.E. entrance exam.

In 1934 joined Sunbeam Commercial Vehicles, Wolverhampton working on Design.

Left to join Bristol Tractor Ltd., Idle, as Designer and Works Manager. In 1945 Works were transferred to Earby where he designed the Bristol 20 Tractor and implements.

1953 Chief Designer, Bristol Tractors, Ltd., Earby, via Colne, Lancs.
